Chinese Whispers with the Forest Phone
Players form a line or circle, and the first player comes up with a message then says it quietly down the Forest Phone to the second person in the line. The second player repeats the message to the next player using the Forest Phone and so on. When the last player is reached, they announce the message they heard to the entire group. The first person then compares the original message with the final version. This game works well as a listening exercise and can be lots of fun.
Fishing games
Two players compete to fish one of each animal (first using the single rods). When playing in two teams, players can play as a relay. There are three different shapes of holes on the sea animals, creating different challenges. The unique double Fish Hook design allows children to fish two sea animals at one time. This is an exciting challenge for any brave sea captain.
Young toddlers variation
The Fish Hook fits the hands of younger children. Young children can start from fishing with only the Fish Hook without the Fish Rod.
Double rod variation
The double rod can be used by a single person or by two people. With 2 players, they must coordinate to fish the sea animals.
Feel & Match with “Silishapes Sensory Circle Set”
These fun, textured mats provide kids with a totally unique sensory experience! Dig & Discover with “Play and Explore Bugs”
Hide the stones in a tub of sand or dirt to let the children find them. (Play sand can be purchased from Bunnings.) The little archaeologist players will do the rest.
Stamp & Observe
Make replicas of the bugs by stamping the stone onto some play dough. Then observe the delicate wings and legs of each insect.
