How to Play Bean Bag Toss


Bean Bag Toss is a classic game that combines skill and fun. It’s perfect for children and adults alike, making it a versatile choice for any party.


Setup:


  • Place the Bean Bag Toss board on a flat surface outdoors.

  • Mark a throwing line about 2 to 3 meters away from the board, depending on the age and skill level of the players.


How to Play:


  • Players take turns tossing bean bags at the holes on the board.

  • Each hole has a different point value, usually marked on the board.

  • The goal is to score as many points as possible by landing bean bags in the holes.

  • Decide on a target score or play a set number of rounds.

  • The player with the highest score at the end wins.


Tips:


  • Encourage children to stand behind the line to keep the game fair.

  • For younger children, move the line closer to the board.

  • Use the game as a way to teach counting and basic addition.


How to Play Ducks in a Row


Ducks in a Row is a lively game that combines number recognition and gross motor skills.


Setup:


  • Set up the ducks in an upright position.

  • Mark a throwing line about 2 to 3 meters away from the board, depending on the age and skill level of the players.


How to Play:


  • Players take turn trying to knock over the ducks with the bean bags


Tips:


  • Adjust the distance based on the age of the children playing.


How to Play Run to the Color


Run to the Color is a fast-paced game that gets children moving and thinking quickly. It’s perfect for outdoor play and can be played by groups of any size.


Setup:


  • Connect the ropes in a random color order.

  • Choose 1 player that will not play, to be the chip holder.

  • Form 2 teams. with the rest of the players. Each team stands on either side of the rope.


How to Play:


  • The player with the bag of chips takes 1 chip out of the bag and holds it up

    high, showing both colors on the chip to the 2 teams and stating the 2 colors.

  • The teams must run to either of these colors, it doesn’t matter which one.

  • The first team to touch the correct colored rope wins the chip.

  • All team members must touch it.

  • The team with the most chips after 8 rounds wins the game.


Alternative play:


  • Instead of connecting the ropes you can make individual circles and spread them out on the floor. e first team to have all feet in the circle wins the chip!


How to Play Catching Tails


Catching Tails is a fun and active game that encourages children to move and strategize. It’s ideal for outdoor play and can be played with a small or large group.


Setup:


  • Each player gets a tail and clips it to the back of their trousers/shirt/jacket

  • Define the play area boundaries.


How to Play:


  • Players try to catch each other’s tails while protecting their own.

  • When a player’s tail is caught, they are out or must perform a fun task before rejoining.

  • The last player with their tail intact wins.


Tips:


  • Players are not allowed to sit down, lie down, lean against anything and not hide the tail with hands or any other way.

  • Set clear rules to avoid rough play.

  • This game promotes agility and quick thinking.
